Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about service dogs, European access guidance, and our online training program.

Q. What is the difference between a Service Dog and an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)?

A service dog is individually trained to perform specific tasks that mitigate a person's disability. An ESA provides comfort through its presence but is not usually trained for specific disability tasks, and access rights can vary by European country, venue, and carrier.

Q. Does my dog need to be a specific breed or size to be a Service Dog?

Most service dog training paths do not require a single breed or size. The key factors are temperament, health, task training, public behavior, and any local or carrier-specific requirements that apply to your situation.

Q. How does the online training course work?

Our course is 100% online. You will get access to a student dashboard with animation training videos, step-by-step guides, and a digital log book. You are required to log your training hours and work with your assigned professional tutor. Once you complete the hours and pass the final Public Access Test, you receive your certification.

Q. Will this certificate allow me to fly with my Service Dog?

Our program is designed to help your dog meet strong behavior standards for public settings and travel. European airlines and destination countries can set their own documentation requirements, so always check your carrier and route before booking. Your certificate helps show structured training, but it does not replace official travel checks.

Q. What happens if my dog fails the final test?

Our goal is your success. If your dog doesn't pass the final assessment on the first try, your tutor will review the areas that need improvement and work with you to correct them. You can retake the assessment without any additional fees.

Q. Is the Public Registry verification recognized across Europe?

Our registry gives staff, property teams, and travel providers a simple way to confirm that a dog has completed our training program. It is a training verification tool, not a government registry, and access or travel requirements may vary by country and provider.
